Your Sadaqah and Zakat are held as two separate funds, so every gift reaches the people you intend to help. Today that means nutritious meals and emergency assistance for families in Lebanon and Gaza.
Sadaqah is voluntary charity, given for the sake of Allah in any amount and at any time. It can be given in your own name or on behalf of someone else, and no amount is too small to matter.
Sadaqah donations go into our general fund, which supports the need that is most urgent. Right now that means preparing and distributing nutritious meals, and providing emergency assistance to families affected by hunger, poverty and displacement in Lebanon and Gaza.
Sadaqah Jariyah
Sadaqah Jariyah is ongoing charity, the kind that keeps benefiting people long after it is given. As the foundation grows, we plan to build food security, clean water, education and healthcare programs that carry this kind of giving forward.

Zakat is the yearly obligation to give 2.5% of your qualifying wealth to those entitled to receive it. It is an act of worship, and a right of the poor rather than a favour to them.
We hold Zakat in its own fund, separate from every other donation. It is given only to people who fall within the eight categories named in the Qur’an (Surah At-Tawbah 9:60), and today it reaches families in Lebanon and Gaza who cannot meet their most basic needs.

The value of 87.48g of gold or 612.36g of silver. It moves with gold and silver prices, so check the current value before you calculate.
When
Once every lunar year. Many donors choose Ramadan, but any time of year is valid.

Zakat is obligatory. It is calculated at 2.5% of qualifying wealth once a lunar year, and it may only be given to specific categories of people. Sadaqah is voluntary, can be any amount at any time, and can be used more broadly wherever the need is greatest.
Your Zakat is held in its own fund and given only to people who fall within the eight categories named in the Qur’an. Our team works with trusted local partners to identify families in need, and Zakat records are kept separate from all other donations.
Zakat becomes due once you have held wealth above the nisab for a full lunar year. Many donors choose to give during Ramadan, but you can give at any point in the year.
Yes. Some donors prefer to spread their giving across the year in monthly instalments. Choose the monthly option on either form, and keep a note of your yearly total for your own records.
Yes. Many donors give Sadaqah in the name of a parent or a loved one who has passed away. You can add a note with your donation telling us who it is for.
